4:51 am - Orignal Fiction- "Damaged"
Title: “Damaged”

Rating: M for Mature (nudity, sexual situations, language and mature themes)

Disclaimers: A work of original fiction, any similarities to real people, places and events simply highlights my dearth of real imaginative power. Do not bend, fold, spindle or masturbate.

Summary: Original fiction. Based on an idea shared with my friends Sarah and Louis. Thanks Sarah, for being my muse, my inspiration and my friend. Thanks Louis for loaning me your name and a few ideas. And no, I am NOT going to the Fetish Ball Saturday. Can't get a date, and wouldn't fit my fat ass into the leathers if I did. This has been roughly proofed but not re-edited, and should be considered a late draft...

4:36 pm - random poem
Lying. Next to you.

Stop Stop Stop!

I’ve got to stop!-
Lying next to you
Every night

Because it’s getting clear
This man lying near
You
Is really more into
Someone else who
Doesn’t love me
So I know
I have to be
The one who
Finally decides to
Let you know
To let me go
So

I can stop stop stop!
Lying
Next to you.

11:49 pm - West Wing: Every Romance a Tragedy, Every Tragedy a Romance
Recently decided to write something, just for the hell of it. Here it is, unbetaed and largely uneditied...

Disclaimers:
Based wholly or partly on characters and situations created by Aaron Sorkin, John Wells, NBC, Warner Brothers Television Production Inc., and who knows what others. An unauthorized work of speculative fiction. Parental discretion is advised. Do not distribute for profit or without notification. Not to be taken internally. No user serviceable parts inside. Made in the USA. I wouldn’t stop for red lights. Strongest fan fiction available without a prescription. May cause dizziness, dry mouth or nausea. Do not read my fanfics while driving, drinking or operating heavy machinery. I’m ReverendKilljoy and I approved this Disclaimer.

Note: post-series. Spoiler free.

3:05 pm - At Last. Or nearly last.
I am finally posting/finishing all my unfinished symphonies. I recently finished the Buffy series with the revision of "The Sword and the Fist" and the completion of "The Night and the Day."

Now it is time for the tough one- My West Wing series capper, "The Myth of Closure." This is a write/edit, not a repost, and all of them are at my eponymous fanfiction site, http://www.fanfiction.net/~reverendkilljoy

Enjoy.

MJC

PS- Still teaching in Lancaster, living in Richardson, and spending most of much time melancholy. It seems to work, and it's a whole lot better than being depressed.

9:07 pm - New Web site for school
I know, been forever since I posted. Teaching full time does that. I am working on both original stuff AND some fan fic, but nothing ready to share just yet.

I just posted a web site that I am using to help my 9th grade English students. It had to be 1) somehow related to "Romeo and Juliet," 2) entirely safe for our school filters and firewalls, 3) devoid of controversial or pirated material, 4) filled with enough information to make for a decent MLA exercise, and lastly 5) authored under a plausibly deniable pseudonym.

Behold, The Troubles.

Feedback greatly appreciated.

5:23 pm - Buffy- "The Sword and the Fist" parts 16-19
Title: "The Sword and the Fist"
Author: ReverendKilljoy
Rating: PG

Summary: As part of my program to finish my fan fiction collection posting, I am posting revised and complete editions of my Buffy the Vampire Slayer novellas. The first two are complete, and I am radically revising and completing the third, much as I finished my CSI novella "Devil out of Texas" before retiring from CSI fan fiction.

I know that lots of people don't 'ship the pairs in my stories, but I think they are worth reading anyway. If not, that's okay too.

As to the texts themselves, these are "classic editions." There have been some editorial improvements but few radical rewrites except in the previously unpublished third book. If you skipped these stories before, I hope you reconsider. This is the Buffy universe, post-“Chosen” and more or less compatible with canon through the end of Angel S5. These were my very first fan fictions of any kind... So, the conclusion of “The Sword and the Fist.”
